Long ago, Alora was born with the power of sorcery along with her twin sister. She and her family were secluded due to the fear of outsiders accusing them of witchcraft, and lived amongst other sorcerers. Alora and her sister were highly praised as their power level were that beyond normal for their age, and they became stronger as they grew. She lived a content life, until tragedy struck when she was a teenager. Her mother and sister had been traveling for herbs and a group of people had discovered them. Her mother was killed, and her sister mysteriously disappeared. For a long time, Alora and her father believed that her sister was dead as well. Years later, when her father fell ill, he wished for Alora to search around to find out what happened to her sister. Before he passed away, Alora promised him he would do so.

Eventually, after a long search, Alora did find her sister well and alive in an abandoned cathedral. Her sister had a desire to build her own army, and bring peace to the world. Alora had supported her decision, believing that she was doing the right thing.

Years later, Alora would find out more about her sister's plans... she would use two powerful weapons... Soul Edge, and Soul Calibur... to help her in her plans.

Now known as The Maiden, she had embraced the dark arts, which had corrupted her beyond Alora's help. The Maiden, believing Alora to be a threat to her plans, fought her. The two were nearly equal in power, and they both knew that it would be hard to take the other down. The Maiden escaped that day, but Alora knew that it wouldn't be long before the two would be battling again. Alora hopes to free her sister from her corruption... even if it means killing her...
