Growing up, Mara had always believed in honor and loyalty. Her
family also believed in it as well, especially her older brother Lionel. He was dedicated in his duty as knight for
the King and Queen of England. Mara had always thought about becoming a knight herself, but wasn't too sure on it at
the time.
However, seven years ago, tragedy struck.
Whiling visiting her brother, Lionel told Mara that he was off on an
assignment to excecute the former knight Vittorio, who committed countless crimes. Wanting to see what it was like being
a knight, Mara begged to go with him. After some convincing, Lionel decided to let his sister go with him.
They soon met up with the criminal, and Lionel attempted to take down
Vittorio himself. The two seemed even in their battle. However, Vittorio was able to get the upperhand and, when
the right time came, he slew Lionel right in front of the horrified Mara.
Mara immediately tried to get away, but Vittorio was able to catch up
to her and force to the ground. He then attempt to rip her clothing off. However, in an attempt to fight him off,
Mara grabbed a rock and, with enough force, stabbed it into Vittorio's eye. Forcing him to scream in pain and agony,
this gave Mara enough time to escape from him, running to the nearest village for help.
Once news of Lionel's death was known, the King and Queen themselves
offered Mara a place amongst the knights. Within a year, Mara accepted their offer in honor of her brother.
As the years passed, Mara became one of the top knights and was well
respected by those she knew. She was always dedicated in her duties as knight.
However, a part of her thirsted revenge against Vittorio, the man who
killed her brother and took a part of her honor. She hopes to seek him out one day to avenge her brother's death and
regained what was lost of her honor.
