Eventually, as the fires died, Vironia came face to face with the demon himself. She simply stared him in his maniacal face. Heru was quit surprised by her reaction to him. She showed no emotion, as if she was ready to accept any fate that was about to bestow her. Heru knew this child was special. He kneeled down to her, and placed his hand on her cheek. A feeling of content filled Vironia. She never felt anything like it before. After a few moments, Heru offered to take her in as his own. Vironia accepted, suddenly feeling something she never had felt before: a sense of purpose.

Over the years, Heru taught Vironia the ways of warfare. Her demeanor and personality was perfect. She was cold and emotionless, making it very easy for her to take any risks in battle. She felt nothing for anyone or anything, save the man that brought her in. She would defend him with her life and she would fight for any cause he wished. If Vironia ever loved anything in her life, it was her father Heru. She was his daughter now and forever.
