1279 AD
A loud crash was heard as two weapons collided. The two female wielders
eyed each other for a moment before both of them pulled back at the same time. One twirled a little before thrusting her sword
forward.
Cling! The
sound of crashing metal was heard all around the room as her opponent blocked the thrust. She tried to push her back with
all of her strength, but her opponent was just as equally strong. They both eventually were forced to stumble back and when
that was over, they continued to glare at each other while catching their breaths, waiting for their opponent to make the
next move.
Both fighters were blonde with fair skin and definitely were twins. They
were of the same height and bore the same determination on their flushed faces. However, there was one difference between
them…their weapons.
One held a small, light blue sword that shimmered a light aura of the
same color. The other held a large sickle that gloomed in a dark purple aura.
Most would be intimidated by the sickle at those times. However, the
young woman with the blue sword seemed to not be bothered by it at all as though it was just another plain sword.
“Do you have any idea what you’re getting into?” asked
the woman with the blue sword. “Soul Edge is evil…”
“You think I don’t know that?” the woman with the sickle
sneered. “Alora, my dear sister, there would be great order in this world if I had my hands on Soul Edge. Do you have
any idea what kind of power you and I could possess? Just imagine, you and I together-”
“If that is all you care about, then I refuse to join you,”
Alora spat in anger. “Soul Edge is nothing more than an evil sword out to control those who touches it’s hilt.
It will eventually control you.”
Alora’s sister let out a sadistic laugh. “Honestly, after
all of these years, you are still underestimating me. Face it, my sorcery is much more developed than yours will ever be.
Not even Soul Calibur can stop me.” She looked at the sword that Alora held in her hand. “And now, you will be
punished for it.”
The woman quickly put her hand out. Alora knew that her twin sister had
something up her sleeve. But before the young fighter could move, she realized that she couldn’t pick up her own feet.
What in the… Alora began to think. She looked down and saw that the hardened cement had already formed itself from her feet and
up to her knees. Alora dropped her sword in shock. She tried to collect energy into her own hands to use her own sorcery against
her sister. However, her sister’s powers had already taken over, as Alora then noticed that the usual bright lights
that collected in her hands were now dimmed to the point where they looked invisible. When the cement came to her waist, Alora
realized that she couldn’t fight back and had to accept her demise.
When the stone came to her neck, Alora’s sister stopped. She walked
over to her with a sadistic smirk on her face. Alora glared at her. “You may have taken me down, but there will be others.”
The smirk stayed on her sister’s face. “Goodbye my dear Alora.”
And with that, Alora’s face was covered in stone. The young blonde woman then admired her sister’s new form. After
a moment, the woman decided to speak again. She reached up to her sister’s face and softly touched her left cheek. “Do
not worry yourself. When my plans come to fruition, you will see the light of day again.” The young woman then smiled.
“Until then, enjoy your eternal nightmares.”
Just then, the woman heard a faint noise below her. She looked down just
in time to see the sword known as Soul Calibur disappear into thin air. She sighed to herself. She was hoping to have that
sword for herself. However, since she had a limited ability to see in the future, she saw that Soul Calibur, along with it’s
counterpart Soul Edge, will hold much more power 300 years down the road…power even much stronger than the Gods could
behold.
She then chuckled to herself as she walked over to her throne and sat
down. For a long time now, she devised her plans to bring order to the world. She knew the easy part was retrieving the two
enchanted swords. The next part was the difficult part…
“All I have to do now is wait for my ‘children’ to
arrive.”
Images of those ‘children’ came to her mind. Two girls clad
in blue came to her, followed by a man in a green Musketeer hat. A male samurai in red, a red ninja, a green ninja, two dark
assassins, and a wielder of fire passed her mind as well.
She laughed to herself afterwards. “And that is only the first
few…”
